Bird really was the word this year in California's electronic music festival scene.
We got to get down and dirty with the Dirtybird Records family AND the Do LaB tribe at Dirtybird Campout. Featuring a house-heavy lineup paired with a bit of techno and west coast bass, this music festival reignited the Best Music Fest spirit 1 community-building summercamp activity at a time.
Participation, competition and intoxication filled the fields and lake in between booty shaking house beats at the stages.
Festival attendees could fill their days with a variety of unique options such as archery, dodgeball, yoga and a number of other classic activities.
Challenges, games, workshops, shows, music, friends and barbecue could be found around every turn. This new electronic music festival really stood out for those of us who made it to the smaller, more intimate sized event.
Be sure to catch the details of Best Music Fest's experience and peep some blog worthy photos in our Dirtybird Campout Review.
